Cy-Fair Sports Association (CFSA) and Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) have teamed up to bring the Cy-Fair community a one-of-a-kind, local soccer program for
Boys & Girls Birth Years 2021-2016 
*Teams are single gender, NOT co-ed

     

Difference between the Jr. Hurricanes & other recreational soccer programs:

• Experienced and professionally trained coaching staff
• Very organized & structured recreational soccer program
• United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Age Appropriate Curriculum
• Pathway to Albion Hurricanes FC competitive soccer program
• Small sided games to ensure all players are engaged, and to maximize the amount of touches and goalscoring.
• World Cup Final to determine a World Cup Winner (Information to follow)

           1 Hour Practices (total of 10 practices) will be held on Tuesday evenings:

  U9-U10 (Birth Years 2017 & 2016)	7:30 – 8:30 PM (5 vs 5 with a Goalkeeper); week 3-10 there may be a 6:30-7:30pm time slot

March 9-13 - Spring Break - No practice
March 15 – Teams Rostered
March 17 – 3^rd Training Session (1^st Training Session as TEAMS and Uniforms Distributed)
March 19 - Full game schedule finalized and distributed.
March 22 – 1^st Game
March 30 & April 5th - Easter - No practice or Game
May 17 –  Final Game

COMPLETE TRAINING SCHEDULE:
TRAINING DATES: February 24, March 3, 17, 24; April 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12 
GAME DATES: March 22, 29; April 12, 19, 26, 28; May  3, 10, 17

FRIEND/COACH REQUEST:
Age U5 – U6 – 7 players per team (6 Friend requests)
Age U7 – U8 – 9 players per team (8 Friend requests)
Age U10 – U10 – 11 players per team (10 Friend requests)

Friend requests must be made at registration in the player request section. All requests must be made by all parties. If friend requests include players in different age groups (e.g. U7-78 & U9-10) younger players would need to play up, we do not allow older players to play down an age group.

UNIFORMS:  Included in the cost is a home and away jersey, shorts and socks. The size you select during registration is what you will be given at the 3rd practice.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Players will need to wear soccer cleats (NO metal cleats) and shin guards. Bring a Size 4 soccer ball (please write your name on your ball!), water, bug spray and sunscreen to the training sessions and Sunday games. 

COMMUNICATION:  Please make sure the email you use to register your child (the email in your child's profile) is current and that you have not "unsubscribed" from emails from CFSA.  This is our primary method of communicating schedules, team placement, etc.

OTHER INFORMATION:  VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED!!
Games are coached on field, refereed, and overseen by Jr. Hurricanes staff.  However, we require volunteers to help substitute players in, give equal playing time to each player and to be a positive influence on the sidelines.  We need a minimum of TWO VOLUNTEERS PER TEAM.  If you are interested in volunteering, please register (no cost) as a volunteer when registering your child! (Or please note in the player notes section that you would like to help your child's team).

REFUND POLICY: Cy-Fair Sports Association will issue a refund-a $50 administrative fee-any time prior to the close of regular registration (March 13, 2026) if you complete the online Refund Request (https://www.cy- fairsports.org/Registration/Refunds).
